JOB TITLE:  Retail Team Manager

COMPANY ROLE:

The individual in this position is responsible for executing store assignments/projects issued by Food Lion through the use of set team personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To treat all associates, customers, and suppliers with respect and appreciation.
  • To treat your word as your vow by always doing what you say you will do when you say you will do it.
  • To represent SellEthics Marketing Group in an ethical and professional manner at all times.    
  • To conduct a daily roll call of assigned personnel and report back any exceptions (i.e. Absenteeism, Tardiness, Leaving Early, etc.).
  • To review the assignment/project log and allocate work force to accomplish the assigned objectives in the allotted time.
  • To ensure mail and supplies are picked up from the “home” store.
  • To ensure the “Tag Order” is given to the Scan Analyst.
  • To ensure the team participants are given two hours to work on their company’s retail initiatives.
  • To ensure Food Lion’s Store Brand is given the focus it needs to have exemplary store conditions.
  • To conduct a “walk through” with the store manager and make sure that he or she signs off on completed assignments.
  • To complete the “Daily Recap” report and check in with Food Lion’s RMS and Retail Coordinator before the end of the day to share the day’s progress.

 SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Ability to use on a proficient level various Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Excel, Outlook Express, Word, etc.).

  • All company policies applicable to human resource laws (i.e. benefits, compensation, dress code, etc.).
  • Customers’ and Principals’ policies and procedures that affect our services.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Prefer an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business. At minimum a high school education.
